The band Bang N' Jane was formed in the small New England town of Milton, New Hampshire. The band consists of Mike Frampton, Bob Pouliot, Jim Unfonak, and Bill Evans. The year of 1998 was the magic year for Misfit Toys. Playing at an open-mic night in Rochester, New Hampshire Jim, Bob, and Bill caught the attention of a high energy power vocalist Mike Frampton and Guitarist Glen Houle. The trio played a few songs they had written. And just a week later Mike and Glen left their band and joined Jim, Bob, and Bill to form Misfit Toys . With in a year the band began recording their debut CD at Eclipse studio in Milton Mills, NH. Only weeks after completing their CD Misfit Toys was getting air play on Wheb (100.3) and drawing larger and larger crowds during their busy club schedule.
As Misfit Toys entered the new millennium the band was hit with tragedy . Guitarist Glen Houle who had contributed some fantastic Guitar riffs to their debut CD suddenly passed away. Leaving the band devastated. After much talking and deliberating the band decided to start fresh with a new sound and a new name. In January of 2001 they officially changed there name to Bang N' Jane.
They have opened for national acts like L.A. Guns and Molly Hatchet also opening for Jeremiah Freed at the New England Patriots tail gate party with WHEB (100.3) . In October 2001They headlined the live free or ride Benefit For 911 which raised over $24,000.00. They also head lined Motorcycle Mania at the Whittamore center in April with opening act Riot Act helping out . The band is half way finished with their second CD, and this one promises to be harder with heavier riffs more dynamic rhythms and a sound unique unto themselves. Few bands in New England generates more live intensity and energy than Bang N' Jane
